Sikla is committed to conducting our business in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. We recognise that our activities have social and environmental impacts, therefore we aim to enhance our contributions to the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals.
We support local communities and environments in which we operate in and expect all Sikla employees to follow these values and act in accordance with our sustainability policy.
The United Nations Global Compact is an international initiative that promotes sustainable and ethical business practices. As the world’s largest corporate sustainability platform, with more than 20 000 participating companies and stakeholders across over 167 countries, it provides a principle‑based framework around ten principles covering human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and anti‑corruption.
The goals is to embed these principles into business strategies and operations worldwide, while advancing in broader UN objectives such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Sikla is a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact and is committed to contributing to the ten principles. We regularly report on our actions and progress to ensure responsible and transparent corporate governance.

We aim to strengthen our contribution to the SDGs by aligning our business objectives with global sustainability priorities and measurable targets. We are also committed to supporting communities through fair working conditions, diversity and active social engagement.
