Since 2006, Sikla has pioneered siFramo as a versatile, multifunctional and high load bearing modular steel framing system. Over the years, several million meters of siFramo beam sections have been installed in landmark industrial projects around the world. Our ongoing commitment to innovation continues to deliver value to our customers from the planning to installation phases of their projects.
The goal was clear, to develop a modular steel framing system suitable for industrial applications where:
Connections can be made anywhere on all four sides of a beam
Clashes are eliminated, unlike traditional welded frames
siFramo was engineered for fast and simple installations. This drove the development of a self-forming screw for all connections to deliver flexibility, reduce installation time and enhance safety.
Another key innovation is the geometric design of all four siFramo beam sizes. Corrugation strengthens the section, with ridges positioned close to the corners to optimise load distribution and increases structural capacity by approximately 50% using the same amount of material.
When installing siFramo supports, material handling is easier onsite and reduces the use of raw materials.
